PKMN Battle Fronteir Round 1

I FREAKING DIED ON THIS. OTL
This is the single most time consuming piece I have ever done on my tablet.My thumb is killing me. XD <3

Even though i simply adore pokemon, I haven't drawn them for about 8 years, so this was a challenge for me.
This took about 10 hours or so between yesterday and today.

KAI~

Kai is a 20 year old adventurer looking for her place in life.Originally from Fortree (where her parents live) she is currently living in Lavaridge with her grandmother who runs the hot springs. She enjoys Lavaridge because its where Flannery (not only her best friend but her Idol) lives.They train everyday and then soak in the hot springs afterward. its a comfortable life. Kai knows she wont be able to stay there forever because she is an adventurer and she will get the itch to explore.

ACCESORIES~

Belt w/ Pokeballs- Carries her prized pokemon, also very snug and fits Kai perfectly.

Bag w/ Pins- Kai is a collector of pokemon pins ans he always sticks them on her bag, she gets at least one in every new town she visits. Her bag carries items such as potions and other neat stuff picked up on her adventure.

MP3 and Headphones - (based off of my Skullcandy Skullcrushers) What adventurer doesn't like to listen to music while going through forests, across mountains and through caves? the only problem is when a pokemon sneaks up on you from behind.

Pikachu Wallet - Kai made this herself with the help of her older sister back in Fortree. The cheeks are buttons and the tail is a zipper pull for the change.Its highly convenient and simply adorable!

HAIRSTYLE~
Once Kai's hair started growing out, she couldn't stand it getting in her face, expecially when she would go rollerblading with her pokemon. She keeps them in simple pigtails, a little childish for her age but she can pull it off quite well.

ALTERNATIVE OUTFIT~
For contests, her older sister made this for her before she left fortree. She had apparently worked a week straight on it. Kai treasures it.

POKEMON TEAM~


Rozy - gardevoir

Kai's first pokemon. Started out as a young little Ralts. They have been together for half of Kai's life.She gets spoiled in contests, and usually wins them too with her cuteness.

Regal - Combusken

Given to her by Flannery on her 15th Birthday. For some odd reason, he loves the rain. Hes her powerhouse in battle.

Meg - Mawile

She was very touchy at first but Kai never gave up on her. Meg eventually warmed up and now the are best of friends!
Although Meg still doesn't trust others very much.

Rette - altaria

Given to Kai by Winona at Fortree when she was about to leave the village.She told Kai that if she ever ot homesick to fly back right away.

Nova - Tropius

Regal found Nova as a baby, lost in the rain and brought him back to the camp Kai had set up for the night. it was quite a surprise for her to wake up with baby Nova cuddled up to her in the morning!

Dex - Whiscash

Kai pulled dex in when she was fishing one day.Ever since then Dex has been happy to join along with the rest of the team.

Kai gets along well with her team and loves them all. She is ready to get back to her pokemon adventure.
